Mr. Bentin and his Father, from Peru, hunted with us earlier this week and took some fantastic trophies.  On Monday morning, we hunted Las Catarinas Ranch in West Kerr County, and Pedro Bentin dropped this beautiful 412 B&C Elk Bull using my TIKA 300 win mag.  The Bull didn't even take a step after the shot....perfect placement

This Elk Bull is the first since January for Texas Hunt Lodge.  This particular Elk Bull scored 8th all-time Estate Rocky Mountain Elk with Trophy Game Records of the World.  He will be a top 5 for the year, though we have (2) even larger Bulls on Las Catarinas now which will give him a run for his money.



The following morning, Elias Bentin, at 80 years of age, took the #3 Sitatunga ever taken in the US.  He shot this animal with a TIKA .243 rifle at 100 plus yards.
