Busiest Month of Hunting - October
October has finally come and gone, and now it's nearly Whitetail Season. October 2009 was the busiest month on record for Texas Hunt Lodge. We hosted clients whom bagged 52 animals last month.
From Bison with Compound Bows, Monster Water Buffalo, multiple Elk hunts, (5) Scimitar Horned Oryx Hunts, Red Stag, Axis Bucks, Fallow Bucks, Rams, Catalina Goats, Pronghorn, Blackbuck Antelope, Hybrid Ibex, etc...we put a dent in the Wild Game herd of Kerr County. See October client photos here: http://www.texashuntlodge.com/client_photos.asp
Now, we're gearing up for our South Texas Whitetail Season...we currently have 11 spots remaining for the season. We conducted a helicopter survey a few weeks ago and there are definitely some "rip-snorters" running around. Expect to see multiple 150-170 Class Whitetail bucks hit the pages of Texas Hunt Lodge this year.
Here is Bob Steele with a "Burnt Orange Watusi" taken from Las Catarinas Ranch this month.

One of the only White Water Buffalo I've ever seen taken from West Kerr County last week
