Looking back, Februrary at Texas Hunt Lodge was all about the "B"s.  Buffalo (10), Blackbuck (5), Water Buffalo (2) and boar, boars, and more wild boars. With clients arriving from all over the country it just seemed quirky that so many were focused on the bison.  A dozen buffalo harvested in one month, just stricks me as a whole bunch for any Texas ranch.  But hey, February is the prime time for buffalo hunting.  That's when bison are in full coat and looking their very best.
