May to September is the hottest time in Texas, and it's the best time to hunt Monster Axis Bucks with Texas Hunt Lodge. Kerr County boasts the largest Axis Bucks in the World...all World Records have come from this area. Our Trophy Axis, typically Silver Medal with good caudals, brow tines, and 30-32 inch main beams are booking for $2250 trophy fee.
Our Gold Medal Axis, which are limited this year, book for a $3500 trophy fee. These bucks are guaranteed to go Gold Medal and average 14 inch Brow tines, 6-8 inch caudals, and 35 inch Main beams.

All Hunt Methods may be used including Black Powder, Archery, Handgun, Rifle, Crossbow, etc, but your best success for a big axis is going to be with rifle on a 2 day hunt.
