New #2 World Record Non Typical Axis Deer
Texas Hunt Lodge client, Ryan Foster, shot 2 magnificent Axis Bucks this week. The first, a Non Typical, or Extra Typical, 11 point Axis Buck which scored over 190" SCI, became the 2nd largest ever recorded in the World.
Ryan was guided by Texas Hunt Lodge manager, Justin Taylor, and shot this Record Axis Deer with a .270 WSM Rifle.
The next morning, Foster returned to the same ranch and shot a Hog of an Axis...a typical 3x3 Axis Buck in Velvet with nearly 8 inch bases, scoring #7 all time for Trophy Game Records of the World, and #19 all time for Safari Club International (SCI).
Congrats Ryan on some awesome Axis Bucks....just goes to show you that Kerr County still have the largest Axis Bucks in the World, hands down!
